Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the IVN Smart app handles data while you use the app.

What the app does

• Connects to an MQTT broker to control and monitor devices.
• Communicates with devices on your local network during onboarding / setup.

Data stored on your device

• MQTT credentials you enter (stored securely).
• Auth token used for the support center (stored securely).
• App settings and preferences (stored locally).

Data sent over the network

• When you register an account or sign in, the app sends your chosen username and password to the API at https://api.ivnsmart.com.
• When you use the in-app support center, the app sends the ticket subject and description you provide.
• When you check OTA updates, the app downloads an OTA manifest from https://ota.ivnsmart.com/manifest.json.
• During device onboarding, the app may send Wi-Fi credentials and MQTT broker settings to your device over your local network (LAN). This data is not sent to the public API.

Permissions

• On Android, scanning for nearby Wi-Fi networks may require Location permission. We use it only to discover Wi-Fi networks for device onboarding and do not collect or store your location.

Account deletion

To request account deletion inside the app, open Settings → Delete account and submit a deletion request.

Ứng dụng làm gì

• Kết nối tới MQTT broker để điều khiển/giám sát thiết bị.
• Giao tiếp với thiết bị trong mạng nội bộ khi onboarding / cấu hình.

Dữ liệu lưu trên thiết bị

• Thông tin đăng nhập MQTT bạn nhập (lưu an toàn).
• Token đăng nhập cho trung tâm hỗ trợ (lưu an toàn).
• Thiết lập và tuỳ chọn của ứng dụng (lưu cục bộ).

Dữ liệu gửi qua mạng

• Khi bạn đăng ký tài khoản hoặc đăng nhập, ứng dụng gửi username và password lên API tại https://api.ivnsmart.com.
• Khi bạn dùng trung tâm hỗ trợ trong app, ứng dụng gửi tiêu đề và nội dung ticket do bạn nhập.
• Khi kiểm tra OTA, ứng dụng tải OTA manifest từ https://ota.ivnsmart.com/manifest.json.
• Trong quá trình onboarding, ứng dụng có thể gửi thông tin Wi-Fi và cấu hình MQTT tới thiết bị của bạn qua mạng nội bộ (LAN). Dữ liệu này không được gửi tới public API.

Quyền truy cập

• Trên Android, việc quét Wi-Fi có thể cần quyền Vị trí. Ứng dụng chỉ dùng quyền này để tìm mạng Wi-Fi cho onboarding và không thu thập/lưu vị trí của bạn.

Xóa tài khoản

Trong app: vào Cài đặt → Xóa tài khoản và gửi yêu cầu.
